Our Programs

Digital Classroom Program

We set up Digital Classrooms in remote rural government schools and Volunteers from across the globe teach the children in these schools for two hours a week in the regional language. Science, Math and English are taught along with Basics of Artificial Intelligence, Life skills and Leadership skills. Teaching aid is available to the Volunteer Teachers in the form of lesson plans, presentations and videos.

Teach Through Television

Our core program connects passionate volunteer teachers with rural children through digital tech. Overcoming connectivity challenges, we have revitalised digital classrooms, equipping them with top-notch infrastructure such as large-screen monitors, webcams, mics, speakers, and a reliable internet connection for seamless, interactive learning.

eVidyaloka Learning App

The eVidyaloka Learning App houses rich educational content in the regional languages for grades 5 to 8. With a child-friendly interface, this app aims to make quality education available everywhere a smartphone can go.

Our Approach

To bridge the educational Divide in underserved and rural communities by providing children access to basic education through the digital platform with the help of our wide network of volunteers.

EDGE

Empowering Dreams through Effective Goal Setting - EDGE Introducing EDGE, a program that fosters achievement and nurtures future leaders. At its core, EDGE is our path to realising the dreams and aspirations of students through structured goal-setting and mentorship culminating in a TED-style presentation.

Joy of Reading

Designed with three core focus areas: language skills of the students, exposure to a variety of literature and scaffold to read with meaning. Children were exposed to a variety of literature and in the process, reading became a habit. Children were capable of engaging with stories through prediction, inference, imagination and perspective building. In addition, they learned how to narrate stories in their own words.

NMMS

The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged students. By providing merit-based scholarships, NMMS encourages higher education and gives opportunities to deserving students

    Foundation and Inception

Our journey began in January 2011 when Satish and Venkat, colleagues at Microsoft India, united over a shared vision to merge volunteerism and technology, to provide education to children in India's rural villages. The success of our two-year pilot propelled us to expand our team, now comprised of dedicated full-time employees and volunteers who support our global network of volunteer teachers and partner schools.
